Reservation And Cancellation Policy
Reservation Policy
Make sure you have read our entire reservation and cancellation policy. Reservations are secured by providing a credit card/debit number as a deposit. Your card will be immediately charged for the deposit with the remainder payable “on the dock” after the trip. If you pay your balance with a credit/debit card there will be a 3% convenience fee.
Large parties may require a larger deposit.
Cancellation Policy
All cancellations are subject to a $15.00 fee.
Any cancellation made within 48 hours of your scheduled trip will result in the loss of your deposit and 50% of your balance due. Any cancellation within 24 hours will result in loss of deposit. We will charge your credit card for the balance due.
“No Shows” will result in the loss of the entire deposit. Your credit card will be charged for the full amount due. You must notify us if you will be late. We will make one attempt to contact you, if we are not able to reach you it will be considered a “No Show” 30 minutes after you start time.
All cancellations must be confirmed with Captain Bryan Cuevas. All cancellations must be sent via email from the email address on file. The captain will send you a confirmation email that your email was received and that your trip has been canceled. A voicemail will not constitute a cancellation confirmation.
Booking Two Boats
If you have booked two boats it will require a deposit for each boat. The cancellation policy for booking two boats is the same as our standard cancellation policy. Cancellation of one or both of the boats inside a 48 hours will result in 50% balance due. Cancellations inside of 24 hours of one or both boats will be full balance due.
Trip Rescheduling
This is our policy for rescheduling your trip. You are only allowed one reschedule. The full balance will be due if you need to reschedule a second time. Trips that are rescheduled inside of 48 hours of your scheduled trip will require a 50% balance due. Trips can not be rescheduled inside of 24 hours of your scheduled trip the full balance will be due.
Gift Certificates
All gift certificate sales for final with no refund. Gift certificates are also subject to our booking terms and cancellation policy. Cancellations, reschedules, and no shows are subject to our booking terms and conditions.
Weather Cancellations
Cancellations due to weather are in the captains discretion. If the Captain cancels a trip for weather you can receive a full refund of your deposit. Any and all weather cancellations by the customer will result in a loss of deposit and 100% balance due.
Red Snapper Trips
Red Snapper season will reopen for anglers and state for-hire vessels on Friday, Memorial Day weekend, with a projected closure date after the 4th of July. The recreational Red Snapper season will close if the assigned quota for recreational fishermen is reached at any point after the season opens.
All Red Snapper trips are weather permitting. If weather prevents Red Snapper fishing the trip price will be reduced to the regular 6 hour or 8 hour price depending on the trip you have booked. Mega-Bite Fishing Charters, LLC. has the right to cancel or end any trip for any reason.
