March usually brings warmer temperatures and Spanish Mackerel and Redfish. April begins the migration season for Cobia, King Mackerel, Florida Pompano and more. The month of April is also good for catching small sharks. May brings the opening of the Mississippi recreational Red Snapper season. It typically opens Memorial Day weekend.
