Spring Charter Boat Fishing

Man Fishing at Ship Island

March is the beginning of spring fishing in Biloxi. When it comes to fishing in March your opportunities become greater at catching a wide variety of species. Typically in March we see the beginning of some Spanish mackerel migrating in the Mississippi sound. March is probably one of the best months to try and catch some Sheepshead. Let’s not forget about catching plenty of white trout, Southern kingfish, redfish, flounder, speckled trout and maybe some redfish.

Inshore Fishing

April Fishing

We continue to see the species count increase. April will bring the start of some Cobia around the Mississippi Barrier Islands. It also brings in some of the smaller sharks such as Bonnet heads, Atlantic sharpnose and more. Of course let’s not forget about all those other awesome fish like redfish, trout and more. In April we also see the return a Florida Pompano and jack crevalle. These fish are mainly caught this time of the year around the Barrier Islands.
