Catching Sheepshead
Here’s how we catch the monster Sheepshead in the bay. The best bait for Sheepshead and of course black drum is live shrimp. Sheepshead will feed around the pilings and piers in and around the bay. The closer we can fish to these pilings the better your chances are. They can also be found around shell reefs scattered throughout the bay. If we’re fishing in the Mississippi sound there’s several artificial reefs. These reefs hold fish all year long. Winter and fall fishing in Biloxi is awesome.
